Job Summary:
This role's primary responsibilities are supporting manufacturing IT systems and helping and staff.
Required Education & Experience:
Enrolled in University or College level courses in Computer Sciences and/or Business Administration
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must possess problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Must be energetic and self-motivated
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment would be an asset
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Daily Checklist of critical IT Infrastructure
- Windows AD / Intune User and Device Administration
- Security / Windows Updates for user devices and servers using CrowdStrike
- Support Shopfloor connectivity
- Support of CMS ERP System
- Network and Wi-Fi Management
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28)
Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental Systems, HR policies and Martinrea Employee Handbook
Work Environment:
- 50% Office, 50% Plant floor (PPE require)
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work on computer for long periods of time
- Ability to be present on the production floor daily
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
- Must be able to work with push pull forces of up to 50lbs. or less
Health & Safety:
- Must work in accordance with H&S regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear PPE and certain clothing as required by the Company
