Job Summary: The Dispatch is the central communication hub for all maintenance requests, coordinating resources, and documenting activities to minimize downtime and support continuous production. Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Associate's degree in a technical field, industrial maintenance, or related discipline is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a dispatching, coordination, or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Prior experience in an automotive manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, MP2) is a significant advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance terminology is preferred.

Essential Functions: - Receive, prioritize, and log maintenance work orders from various departments (production, facilities, etc.) via phone, radio, and electronic systems.
- Efficiently dispatch maintenance technicians to address equipment breakdowns, preventative maintenance tasks, and facility issues, considering technician availability, skill sets, and urgency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related communications, providing updates on status, estimated times of arrival, and completion to requesting departments.
Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls and radio communications promptly and professionally.
- Prioritize maintenance requests based on impact to production, safety, and urgency.
- Create and update work orders accurately in the CMMS.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and other plant personnel.
- Track technician progress and provide real-time updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain an organized and efficient dispatch area.
- Identify and escalate critical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining accurate equipment records and historical maintenance data.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department as needed.
- Communicate with the Parts Crib/Stores and maintenance technicians regarding parts availability and requirements for ongoing jobs.
- Assist in generating basic reports on maintenance activities, response times, and work order completion rates as needed.
