High Frequency Delivery Supervisor - Job Description

Job Summary: - Responsible for supervising high-frequency delivery system team members and processes, Supermarkets, Decanting Operations and ensuring production department can meet just-in-time requirements by supplying components.
Required Education and Experience - Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills
- Must have a good knowledge of the English language
- Must have Lean Training and/or Experience in HFDS implementation and rollout
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and inventory management system (CMS)
- Must be able to prioritize, work with limited supervision, give instruction, and be willing to be hands-on with projects
- Must be able to multi-task, analyze data, pay close attention to detail, and be self-motivated
- Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949
Essential Functions: - Follow all work and safety instructions for all assigned operations
- Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks/tuggers safely and with due consideration to pedestrians and safety regulations
- Ensure employees are performing their duties to the standards and guidelines as dictated by plant leadership
- Reinforce compliance with health and safety regulations, company rules, policies, and procedures
- Supervise high-frequency delivery system
- Ensure product gets to the customer JIT
- Ensure non-production and production parts meet Martinrea requirements and provide them on time to production
- Ensure raw material inventory is identified and assigned by areas
- Support the Safety Committee at all times, and perform employee safety observations
- Ensure proper use of equipment, such as forklift trucks and Tuggers
- Must understand the six elements of the quality system, record retention, document control, non-conforming material, corrective action, preventative action, and internal audits, as well as department procedures
- Participate in monthly employee meetings and safety talks
- Conduct incident investigations
- Conduct employee training
- Correct substandard acts or conditions
- Perform employee safety observations
- Work on negative inventories and do investigations to make corrections
- Any other projects and duties assigned by SCO Manager
- Ensure completion of the necessary documentation: Fork Lift Checklist/Circle Check by each TM
- Perform regular inspection/maintenance and safety checks on equipment as required Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies and the Martinrea Employee Handbook,
